Very daring… applying for a job in Google
(Molt atrevit… sol·licitud per treballar a Google)
Estava mirant la web Irlandesa de Manpower, i he vist que Google demana personal pel seu “Adwords team in the heart of vibrant Dublin”.
M’he hagut de posar al dia perque no estava massa enterat del tema del P4P (Pay For Performance) i el PPC (Pay per click), però després de rellegir-ho una mica i fer unes proves des del Google mateix, he acabat d’entendre una mica d’on surten els “enllaços patrocinats” (sponsored links) que avegades apareixen als resultats que torna Google…
Per exemple si li feu buscar “Digital watches”, Google us tornarà la informació rellevant a les paraules buscades, i en aquest cas, us mostrarà també enllaços de gent que es dediquen a aquest tema (generalment vendes), i que s’han volgut fer publicitat via Google…
I si es segueix el link del “advertiser” (qui s’anuncia), mitjançant el la web del “publisher” (qui fa la publicitat), aquest últim acaba cobrant per cada “click” que s’ha fet desde la seva web cap a la web de qui s’anuncia… la cantitat varia entre US$0.01 i US$0.50 en funció dels clicks fets i d’altres factors… i ojo! perque el “click fraud” està controlat…
No sé pas si m’agafaran, a més ara tenen el link del blog i diran, aquest paio és un flipat 
… i diria que no tinc el “BA/BS degree or equivalent” (Business Administration…) que demanen… pero com sempre es diu, “el no ja el tinc”… Almenys m’he enterat una mica d’aquest tema prou interesant…
A veure si passo el filtre de la Manpower i els hi fan arrivar el CV i tingués alguna possibilitat… M’he “currat” una carta de presentació que us detallo a continuació per si li pot servir a algú algun dia… si trobeu algun error molt greu feu-m’ho saber per la propera…:
